Representatives of Lublin's partner cities, Lutsk and Ivano-Frankivsk, and the invited guests from Kharkiv, Kiev, Sumy and other Ukrainian towns and cities, took part in the conference.
On the occasion of the completion of the project "Improvement in Performing Administrative Services for the Inhabitants of the Cross-border Region Through the Formation of Administrative Services Centres and the Development of Cooperation Between the Administrative Services Centre in Lutsk, Administrative Services Centre in Ivano-Frankivsk and Residents Affairs Bureau in Lublin," a closing conference entitled "Summing-up of the Cooperation in the Field of Improvement in Performing Administrative Services between local governments in Poland and Ukraine. Good practices" took place in Lutsk on November 25-28, 2015.
The conference was not only an occasion to sum up project activities, but also a chance to discuss the possibility to develop a wide range of services, especially in Ukrainian local governments, and to include innovative technological solutions like online services provision.
During the conference, as the good practices were being transferred, Lublin Municipality shared its experience in services centralisation and provision of services to foreigners at the Foreigners Help Desk.
The project partners upheld their joint declaration on further cooperation and implementation of projects dedicated to the inhabitants of cross-border regions in the new financing period of the 2014-2020 Poland-Belarus-Ukraine programme.
