Delegation from Delmenhorst in Lublin

The official delegation from Delmenhorst, Lublin’s partner city, visited Lublin from the 11th to the 14th October 2016.

The head of the delegation, Lord Mayor Axel Jahnz, visited Lublin for the first time. During their stay in the city, German guests were given the opportunity to do sightseeing and also visited some cultural institutions to learn about their activity and plans for the future. The main event of the visit was the meeting with Lublin authorities during which the forthcoming cooperation plans were discussed.

Delmenhorst is one of the oldest Lublin’s partner cities. In 2017 we will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the partnership between the two cities.
