Novi Sad festivities

Lublin representatives will have an opportunity to meet their Serbian partners during the Day of the City of Novi Sad festivities which will be traditionally held on February 1. It was exactly on this day in 1748 that Novi Sad gained its name and the city’s foundation charter under which empress Maria Theresa granted the city the status of “a free royal city.” This year we are celebrating the 268th anniversary of this event, and the February Award, which is the highest distinction of the City of Novi Sad, will be given at the festive gala.
