General Information Clause of the Lublin City Office

In accordance with Article 13 (1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ EU L of 2016, No 119, p. 1) (hereinafter the “GDPR”), please find below the information on the manner and purpose of the processing of your personal data, as well as on your rights under the regulations concerning the protection of personal data:

  1. The Data Controller for your personal data the Mayor of Lublin City; address: Plac Króla Władysława Łokietka 1, 20-109 Lublin.
  2. The Lublin City Office has appointed its Data Protection Officer, who you can contact over all matters relating to the processing of your personal data and the exercise of your rights as regards the processing of data. Data Protection Officer is Witold Przeszlakowski. You can contact DPO by:

  3. Your personal data are processed for the following purpose(s):
    • where it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the Controller is subject (Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR);
    • where it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Controller (Article 6 (1) (e) GDPR);
    • where it is necessary for the performance of a contract (Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR);
    • in other cases, your personal data are processed only on the basis of your given consent to the processing, to the extent and for the purpose specified in the consent (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
  4. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is the applicable law, a contract or your given consent.
  5. We will use your personal data until completion of the objectives specified in section 3, and after that for the period and to the extent required by the generally applicable law.
  6. Your data may be transferred to:
    • public authorities and entities performing public tasks or acting on behalf of public authorities, to the extent and for the purposes that result from the generally applicable law;
    • other entities which, based on relevant agreements signed with the Lublin Municipality, process personal data for which the Data Controller is the Mayor of Lublin City.
  7. Your data may be processed in an automated manner and will not be subject to profiling.
  8. Your data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (i.e. the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland).
  9. As regards the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:
    • the right to access your personal data,
    • the right to request rectification/correction of your personal data;
    • the right to request the erasure of your personal data processed without legitimate grounds; please be advised that to the extent that your data are processed on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of data at any time;
    • the right to request restriction of the processing your personal data;
    • the right to object to the processing of your personal data due to your special circumstances, in cases where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest;
    • the right to your personal data portability, i.e. the right to receive your personal data from us. The right to transfer your personal data is only valid for the data that we process based on your consent;
    • the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority where you decide that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of General Data Protection Regulation.
  10. Where the processing of your personal data is based on the data subject’s consent to the processing (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing based on a granted consent before its withdrawal.
  11. In cases where the processing of your personal data is based on the data subject’s consent to the processing, you provide your personal data to the Data Controller on a voluntary basis.
  12. Providing your personal data is mandatory where the grounds for the processing result from the applicable law.
