A modern station will become the communication hub of the Lublin region in the nearest future. The investment will be built between Młyńska, Gazowa and Dworcowa streets.

A key investment for the city of Lublin and a modern development worthy of the 21st century, will certainly represent our city: energy-saving, using natural and renewable energy sources. It will unquestionably be our priority investment in the coming years, important both for the inhabitants of Lublin and the entire region - says Krzysztof Żuk, Mayor of Lublin.

The Mayor also added that the investment was something Lublin had been waiting for a long time.

In August 2020, the station design received the Real Estate Impactor 2020 award granted by the editors of the real estate section of the Rzeczpospolita daily. Moreover, in 2019, it was shortlisted for the World Building of The Year award in the Infrastructure category, awarded as part of the World Architecture Festival.

Apart from the station building, the project also covers the improvement of surrounding areas. The station design, which is the biggest EU funded project for the City of Lublin, is to be completed by the end of 2022.
