World Refugee Day in Lublin

World Refugee Day in Lublin
19.06.202015:25

World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honour refugees around the globe. It falls each year on June 20 and celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution.

In Lublin, we are particularly connected with the community of refugees who have been living, working, studying and co-creating our city for years. Recent months have shown the importance of human solidarity and neighborly support - refugees living in Lublin immedietely joined the action to help Lublin hospitals or seniors. Thank you for being with us!

On June 20 and 21, Nowe Radio in Lublin will host refugees living in Poland. Nowe Radio is a new internet radio station in Lublin created by collaborators of the Volunteer Center in Lublin and run by, among others, foreigners living in Lublin.

Nowe Radio is available online.
