Five academic choirs will present their exceptional vocal skills at the Łokietek Square (in front of the Town Hall) on Thursday October 5, at 11:30. The performance aimed at celebrating the inauguration of the academic year is to last from 10 to 15 minutes.
The choirs will jointly perform “Gaudeamus igitur” a cappella to make the citizens aware of the great potential that lies in the students, who constitute a considerable part of the Lublin community. The students are said to energize the city with their cultural activity and positive energy.
The project was implemented in collaboration with the Municipal Office of the Lublin City and the academic choirs of five public universities: the Academic Choir of MCSU, the Academic Choir of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, the Academic Choir of the Medical University of Lublin, the Choir of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin and the Academic Choir of Lublin University of Technology.
