This event is a part of the European Mobility Week (September 16th – 22nd). On September 22nd at 10.00 a.m. a fest will start at Hala Globus sports venue (44 Filaretów Street). The fest will feature many attractions, including:
- Piotr Sońta bicycle stunt show,
- presentation of wooden bicycles and a hybrid vehicle,
- mock-up town for road traffic simulation; bicycle marking,
- competitions and prizes,
- a chance to see ZIU-tek, the tourist trolleybus, which will be waiting for visitors at ZUS 02 bus stop (at Filaretów Street, near Hala Globus) between 11.00 a.m and 12.00 p.m.,
- two free rides on ZIU-tek tourist trolleybus, starting at 12.00 p.m. and 1.00 p.m.
The course will cover the following streets: Filaretów – Głęboka – Narutowicza – Piłsudskiego – Wolska – Fabryczna – Al. Zygmuntowskie – Piłsudskiego – Al. Racławickie – Al. Kraśnicka – Zana – Filaretów. The start and end station will be ZUS 02 bus stop. ZIU-tek tourist trolleybus will stop at every bus stop on the route. Rides on ZIU-tek will be accompanied by the history of Lublin trolleybuses, which will be told by an employee of the Lublin Association of Environment-Friendly Transportation.
