Everyone is invited to root for their favourite teams during the 2016 UEFA European Championship at the Fan Zone located near the Aqua Lublin swimming complex.
Lublin is one of the very few Polish cities that decided to set up their Fan Zone. The Lublin zone is one of the biggest zones in Poland.
The organiser of the Fan Zone is MOSiR “Bystrzyca” in Lublin, in cooperation with the Coca-Cola company, and the Marshal’s Office of the Lubelskie Region is the zone’s partner.
The Fan Zone was set up on a square next to the Aqua Lublin swimming complex, at the crossing of the Al. Zygmuntowskie avenue and ul. Lubelskiego Lipca street, from the pool complex to the Zdzisław Niedziela Sports and Entertainment Arena.
Thus, there will be a possibility to watch football matches almost in the centre of Lublin, on the site which is well-connected with all parts of the city.
A giant screen, with the total area exceeding 30 m2, was set up near ul Lubelskiego Lipca street.
The Fan Zone has a capacity of up to one thousand people. It is open from Friday, June 10 until Sunday, July 10 on all match days. It opens everyday one hour before the first match. Some additional space was created near the Fan Zone.
It is possible to watch all Euro 2016 matches in the Zone, including of course all the matches with the participation of the Polish team.
