The event will be held near the Mandragora restaurant's outdoor food court. At the back of the Crown Tribunal, there will be a stage and a chuppah – a traditional Jewish canopy under which the couple will exchange their promises of eternal love. Tourists and Lublin citizens will witness the ceremony and will be also inolved in Jewish dances and other wedding customs.

The Event – wedding, reading of the marriage contract and klezmer concert – will be prepared and performed by the actors of the Jewish State Theatre in Warsaw.

Breaking glasses, bottle dance and the newlyweds lifted up on chairs – these are traditional customs of a Jewish wedding. Full of joy, singing, music and dancing, the event will surely make both the citizens and tourists familiar with a rich tradition of Jewish festivals, so close to the pre-war history of our city.

Shavuot festival – the holiday falls 50 days after the second night of Passover and commemorates the anniversary of the day God gave Moses the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai.
„Man cannot live by bread alone” – exactly 7 days after Passover God gave His people a gift much greater than bread or manna from heaven. God gave Israel His Word. Hence, these two days are the festival that celebrates the revelation of God and making Jews the chosen nation.
Shavuot is a child's first day at a Jewish school. The tradition in religious families is to cut the hair of a three-year-old boy, bring him to the synagogue and than to school where parents distribute wine and sweets so that „Torah will be sweet in his mouth” in future.
Dairy foods are traditionally consumed on the Shavuot holiday. Such dishes as cheese blintzes, cheesecake, cheese kreplach or dishes with honey. The staging of the Jewish wedding ceremony will be accompanied by specially baked round challahs and other dainties.
