The grand opening of the photographic exhibition of works from the international photographic competition “Lublin and Münster in the lens – modern buildings” took place on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the branch no. 28 of the Hieronim Łopaciński Municipal Public Library in Lublin (ul. Nadbystrzycka 85).

The competition took place in Lublin and its German partner city, Münster, simultaneously. It consisted in sending a photograph taken by oneself showing modern architecture in the aforementioned cities. The authors of the works could be persons aged 16 and over, being amateur photographers and living in the territory of the Lublin province and Münsterland respectively. Then, out of the works entered in a competition, the jury in Germany and Poland selected 25 best German and 25 best Polish photos, which one can see in the library on November 12 to December 4.
