Polish Independence Day in Starobilsk

Polish Independence Day in Starobilsk
14.11.201609:35

Representatives of the “Most Nadziei” (Bridge of Hope) Association of Polish Language and Culture Enthusiasts, together with local community activists, organised Polish Independence Day celebration in Starobilsk, Ukraine.

The Association’s members, citizens, and members of voluntary battalions, which fight with Russian aggression, placed flower wreaths at the Polish cemetery, where the remains of murdered Polish officers lie. For many years, the “Most Nadziei” Association of Polish Language and Culture Enthusiasts has been taking care of places which are especially important for Poles – the graves of murdered Polish soldiers. The Association members preserve Polish tradition and culture and promote them among Starobilsk citizens of Polish origins.
