The University of Life Sciences in Lublin is a remarkable place with over 65 years of teaching tradition, where students gain skills and knowledge that will enable them to successfully enter their professional life in the future. As a multi-profile University, it integrates agricultural, biological, veterinary, technical, economic and social sciences. The excellent, newly established research and teaching centres create favourable conditions for the development of innovative solutions in all areas of the University’s activity. The University employs 680 academic teachers in 7 faculties. Two of them have been awarded «A» category, the remaining – «B» category. For 65 years of operation the University promoted: 75 000 graduates, 2000 doctors and 700 habilitated doctors. The University of Life Sciences in Lublin is educating 7,5 thousands of students on 1st, 2nd and full-cycle studies (Veterinary Medicine) and almost 100 PhD students in Polish as well as English. The University has been listed in the CWUR World University Rankings which rank 2000 best of 20 000 universities in the world. Moreover, two ULSL scientific disciplines – Veterinary and Food Technology – have been listed in the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects honouring 54 scientific disciplines. Twelve employees of the University of Life Sciences in Lublin are on the TOP 2% list of the best scientists in the world. The Stanford University Ranking (created in collaboration with Elsevier Publisher and SciTech Strategies company) lists researches whose publications are most cited by other authors. It ranks almost 160 000 scientists from all over the world – including 726 from Poland. Obligatory internships are part of all study programmes. Besides, students can also do extracurricular internships and traineeships. We give students opportunity to take part in national and international exchange programmes (among others MostAR and ERASMUS+). The Student Careers Office provides students and graduates with all necessary assistance to enable an effective start to their professional careers.
