Čači Vorba,a Polish-Ukrainian band formed in 2005, specializes in an exuberant mixture of Gypsy, Carpathian and Balkan music. It offers their listeners an acoustic blend of folk, jazz, modern Balkan wedding music and other styles played on traditional, often exotic sounding, acoustic instruments, such as Hungarian bracsa (kontra) Turkish kemenche, Greek bouzouki, Romanian cobza, or Middle Eastern darabuka and dombak. Such surprising style combinations as “Balkan twist”, “Romanian rock’n’roll” or “Romani swing”, create a wild atmosphere of a Balkan wedding party.
