Anna Żak graduated from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University - Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology and postgraduate cultural studies. She has taken part in many dancing workshops in Poland and abroad since 1996. In 1993-2000, she was dancer in "Grupa Tańca Współczesnego Politechniki Lubelskiej" (Modern Dance Group of Lublin University of Technology). She worked in The Musc Theatre of Lublin in 1998. She implemented her own program of a dance eductaion for kids and teenagers and created choreography and dance minitures for kids.
She has been dancer of Lublin Dance Theatre and co-author of the shows "Z rachunku prawdopodobieństwa" and "Ku dobrej ciszy". She performed as a dancer in "Traktat Optyczny", "Ku dobrej ciszy", "Akrobaci, kwiaty i księżyć pomiędzy", "plepleJAdy", "Snooker". She has led Modern Dance Group of Lublin University of Technology since 2005. She won "Indywidualna Nagroda Prezydenta Miasta Lublin" in 2005.
