Gospeople Choir

GOSPEOPLE choir exists since 2006; a group of people connected with the Gospel Workshops in Lublin has decided to keep gospel music for good. The number of people who have taken part in rehearsals and concerts since we started has reached almost 100. The members are people of all ages and Christian denominations, coming from Lublin and its vicinities. Singing together, we wish to pray and worship God by finding what connects us in our faith. GOSPEOPLE performs gospel music mainly in English. We combine joyful, modern sound of a polyphonic choir with the message of Christian values. The choir’s name comes from two words: GOSPEL and PEOPLE. GOSPEL itself is a combination of the words God and Spell, and means God’s Word, the Good News. So GOSPEOPLE are the People of Good News. Since fall 2008, the choir and band have the possibility to rehearse in the premises of the Henryk Wieniawski Musical Society of Lublin. Source:www.gospeople.gospel.com.pl
