The Center for Jewish Studies of Maria Skłodowska University

The Center for Jewish Studies (Zakład Kultury i Historii Żydów) opened in October 2000 as an independent unit at the Faculty of Humanities. In the academic year of 2004/2005 the Center became a part of the Department of Cultural Studies. Its staff members conduct research concerning Jewish history and culture as well as give classes pertaining to this matter at various faculties of the university.
