The Festival takes place from 15 to 19 June. This year's edition focuses on the circus. This new type of theatre performances searches for inspiration, solutions and possibilities in the broad area of the circus art.
What used to be typical of fair theatre, here gains some new quality and enables playing with conventions, kitsch and new possibilities offered by a circus tent. The tent will become a main stage of the Festival.
The element of circus shall attract broad audiences, also people who are not theatre lovers, since a circus tent does not build any barriers, and the fact that it is placed in the city center makes it visible.
This year's edition also focuses on music. This aspect will be presented in the Band Shell in Saski Garden. Music, as a main element constructing a theatre performance, becomes a main theme. It shall attract audiences to participate in the events.
The Festival is a festival open to new forms of expressions and is addressed to everybody.
