On 9-10 of April, 2019 Lublin hosted a group of representatives of 6 cities: Lisbon, Lille, The Hague, Aalborg, Ostrava and Sofia - partners in UBACT III Transfer Network: com.unity.lab.
The transfer network focuses on ways of implementing the good practice from Lisbon of participatory development of neighbourhoods and priority intervention areas. The principles of the network include horizontal co-governance and co-design of the cities, empowering local communities and fostering social - territorial cohesion. During two intensive days spent in Lublin, the participants discussed the ways of adjusting Lisbon's integrated toolbox for local development to different local context of each participating city. The visit also included meeting local partners and on-site visits to better understand Lublin's context.
Com.unity.lab is an European consortium financed by the European Union within the framework of European Regional Development Fund and the URBACT III programme.
