Lublin Jazz Festival reaches to the history of Lublin Jazz Singers Meetings, at which the likes of Ewa Bem, Hanna Banaszak or Stanisław Sojka made their debuts years ago.
The artistic programme, the concerts and numerous accompanying events were arranged in a way that will provide a complete picture of the contemporary jazz scene. Some of the artists performing during the 1st edition will be: Tomasz Stańko Nordic Quintet, Trzaska/Bauer/Nielsen/Jorgansen, Pink Freud/Pete Wareham (UK) and others.
