Magicians Festival takes place in Lublin for the 2nd time. During the three days it will enchant everybody with the real and up-to-date art of the new circus. The festival is an international event and it enables to meet artists from Poland, France, Spain, and Argentina.
The contemporary city culture is a renaissance of the ludic art. Juggling and circus performances are becoming more and more popular and can be seen in squares and parks. Young artists search for new forms of expression and break with the old convention of the circus. A completely new phenomenon appears – performances use the juggling and speaking the circus language talk about what is serious and current. The clowns laugh, but not at other clowns, but at the meaning of life.
The organizers of the festival would like to invite everybody to take part in the festival, to watch street performances and the performances in the tent, to participate in workshops that are addressed to both amateurs and professionals.
The unique event taking place during the festival are the Urban Highline shows. It's the extreme version of the street highlining, that is placing lines between the buidlings and walking them. The performances will take place between the Marshall’s Office building and The City Office (Lubomelska and Wieniawska Streets). Anyone wishing to walk the line will be able to try it on a line hang between trees.
