11.10 (Fri), 7 pm – Wojciech Ireneusz Sobczyk – Atlas of Weeds – exhibition opening
The artist carefully studies marks left by history, to then transform them into equivocal, though provoking artworks. The exhibition was inspired by the pre and post-war history of the tenement house that currently hosts the gallery. At the beginning of the 1941 it was populated by 79 residents of Jewish origin.
