Cold winter aura doesn't have to mean staying at home. The white cover and the frost favour the winter craze, so every outdoor activity lover will find something for themselves. We present some ideas for spending time in Lublin in the winter months.
PERŁA BREWERY ICE RINK
Perła Brewery Ice Rink is a novelty in Lublin. Near to the Old Town you can rent a pair of skates and enjoy the outdoor ice rink. Apart from that, there's also the winter chillout zone, illuminations, food zone, and cyclic events with plenty of attractions. The rink is open from Wednesday to Friday between 15.00 and 21.00, and on the weekends between 10.00 and 21.00.
ICEMANIA
If you want to enjoy this winter time and relax you've got to accept MOSiR's invitation. The Icemania ice rink, sized 30 x 60 m., is equipped with a spectacular entresol and eating area with the climatic Color Cafe, that you can enter directly from the ice rink. The place is suitable for the beginners, figure skaters, and hockey players.

SLEIGH RIDES IN THE OPEN AIR VILLAGE MUSEUM
A horse-drawn sleigh among the snow-covered trees is for many the quintessence of winter. The Open Air Village Museum in Lublin provides great fun both for children and adults. Give yourself a chance to be captivated by the old Lublin village from the perspective of a sledge. Get warm by the campfire afterwards.

We are proud to watch Justyna Kowalczyk perform in the World Cup competitions. If you would like to be more like her and get some outdoor exercise, we invite you to the forest paths of the Old Forest and the Zemborzycki Lake. Forest tracks, fire roads and bicycle trails in the south of Lublin transform into cross-country skiing trails, where you can often use the tracks made by the snowcat trucks and other skiers.
WINTER IN THE CITY
The City of Lublin invites for annual winter break activities. It's a proposition for the pupils of the Lublin schools who stay in the city for the semester break. In the program we can find meetings, workshops, sport and recreational activities, as well as some sightseeing. This year's edition will be closely connected with the approaching jubilee of 450 years of the Union of Lublin.
