On march 21 at 7:00 pm, Lublin Dance Theatre invites to the premiere of “endo”.
This is what the artists tell about the performance:
“It starts simply. Light on your tongue, throat, esophagus, trachea… ultrasounds, rays and omnipresent waves. Then, the maze of intestines, this hubbub digestion, lucky endoprosthesis – pregnancy – and sea monsters in the flashes of the unconscious. Inside the body there is everything – naked thought, conceived word, unborn feelings… multiple, imaginary, ectopic. All of them. Those wanted and unwanted. Bared teeth, ripen milk and broad hips ready to give birth, naked and ready.
SHE – a plaster statue, tapeworm preserved in formalin, an exhibit from the museum of natural history of everyday. An exhibit covered with varicose veins, that resembles the writings in knot alphabet, swollen and full of lymph. SHE – endosymbiosis and psychodrama of the entrails. HER road in time happens always under the tissues. She swallows the probe and explores the inside of her body – the brazen moss reproduced by budding.
Debauchery of the curiosity of anatomy. Will it lead to insemination or food poisoning? Will it be expelled or develop into cancer?
SHE calls from peritoneum … from peritoneum, oviduct, uterus… she calls having the mirror in front and magnifying glass inside… she calls “de profundis clamavi ad te...”
Choreography – Ryszard Kalinowski
