Kuchnia Społeczna (Community Kitchen) is a monthly event (can be organized more often, though) at Tektura. The event starts at noon. It is a meeting over food that is shaped by all participants and its aim is to create and strengten social bonds through cooperation and exchange of goods without middlemen or mass producers.
How does it work?
If you can you prepare food (best if it is vegan - no meat, fish, seafood or diary products, eggs, honey) for 5-10 people. If you can't cook, come anyway. Food is placed on a table, everyone chips in (10 zł). People who prepared the food get the money for the products, the rest is given to a chosen initiative. The finance issue should be public, so at the end of the feast everybody will decide on the initiative.
