Kinoteatr Project with the collaboration of Poznan Ad Arte Foundation is inviting you to a Dutch edition of the ´´ World Shorts´´ show in Lublin.
The programme is made up of animated, documentary and feature films that received a prize at international festivals. Polish spectators will have a unique opportunity to see mostly new parts, not shown in our country yet. During the programme you´ll be able to see ´´New Tenants´´, an Oscar Prize Winner short American movie made by a Dutch director Joachim Back. But the festival hit will undoubtedly be a Tore Furegard erotic comedy ´´Venus´´.

1.To all my friends
Director: Behrouz Bigdeli / 2010 / 29min.
Mark and Sonny are punks and best friends. They´ve always hung around together and are the only family to each other. Being self-destructive, Sonny doesn´t object to living an aimless life in tough suburbs. Mark, however, desires something more. When the girl suggests moving to the city, he is in a quandary. Should he end their inopportune friendship and act according to his will, or remain faithful to Sonny who is desperately trying to stay together?
2.Heavy Heads
Director: Helena Frank / 2010 / 8min.
A minimalistic, animated black comedy about loneliness.
Lonely Monica lives in a grey kitchen where the sounds of a leaking tap and a buzzing fly determine her existence. This monotony is interrupted when an unexpected guest appears…
3.New Tenants
Director: Joachim Back / 2009 / 21min.
A curious neighbor, a glassy eyed drug dealer and an armed husband are among the bunch of new tenants who cherish some hope for a better future. Not having opened their suitcases yet, they learn the day to move in is their worst day ever. Their new flat holds some mystery… In the movie you´ll see New York film stars and theatre big names: Vincent D'Onofrio, Jamie Harrold, Kevin Corrigan.
4.Venus
Director: Tor Fruergaard / 2012 / 7min.
This seven-minute plasticine animation is an erotic comedy about discovering new sources of mutual inspiration. Shown at the festivals of Los Angeles and Annecy the film tells a story of Caroline and Rasmus. They haven´t had sex for the past four months and decide to visit a swingers club. Will this step save their relationship?
