Maja Kleszcz and Wojciech Krzak - they are IncarNations. In Warsaw Village Band, they used to explore Slavic traditions and bring them back to life. They have set foot in totally different territory recently. Their second album, “Odeon”, is inspired by jazz, swing, early r’n’b and big beat. They asked Bogdan Loebl, who used to write for the likes of Tadeusz Nalepa and Breakout, to write the lyrics to the songs. They are filled with wonderful, first-class poetry, some old-school greatness and completely deprived of boredom or obscurity. Kleszcz’s singing can be compared to the best stars, Holiday or Winehouse, she break the expected melody and balances on its edge
