We have too much of everything today. At the same time, we don’t feel that the richness of “cultural products” leaves anything behind. Too many films, too many songs, too many books. Too much politics and too many words in the public space. It all fades away not leaving any trace of reflections behind. These “products of culture” are like mayflies. They live only one day and we need to throw them away after consumption to make space for new ones. How can we find ourselves in this chaos. It is truly impossible to get accustomed to this overflow of stimuli, which attack us from all sides. How not to drawn in this “liquid modernity”.
