"Chłepcąc ciekły hel – historia yassu" is a fascinating, extensive and reliable history of Polish yass published by A Kuku Sztuka Association. Sebastian Rerak performed a role of documentarian, researcher and chronicler. He managed to get access to archive documents and in a really comprehensive way he presented one of the most important and most intriguing phenomenon in the history of music or even further – of Polish culture. In addition, the author performed over sixty interviews, talking with almost every important artists dealing with the phenomenon in question. For fans of jazz, avantgarde and alternative music – a must-have, for others – an interesting and absorbing testimony of an essential point in the history of national culture.

Sebastian Rerak – born in 1981 in Cracow. Journalist and cultural expert dealing with popular culture. He published in numerous magazines (among others: Dziennik Polska-Europa-Świat, Fluid, Laif, Machina) and on the website Onet.pl. Currently, he is a doctoral student of the Faculty of Management and Social Communication of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
