Special edition of the Lublin Drawing Duels with a motto ‘Energies of the City’ understood as urban energy clash. The topic of the duel, “Energies of the City”, will be looked upon by the participants as a flow of energy between various communities active in the Lublin area and power of vibrations produced by clashed occurring during their meetings.
This particular edition of the Lublin Drawing Duels is prepared especially for the Night of Culture 2013. The City” understood as Urban Energy Clash. .The participants will work on the topics of the flow of energy between various communities active in the Lublin area and power of vibrations then created. The artists will try to find similarities and differences, look for compromise and new solutions for our common problems. The win depends on the results of voting organized in a special voting zone at the end of each duel. There and then, everyone, participants, organizers and members of the audience, will have the opportunity to vote and co-decide which of the rivals wins and which fails. The whole event is organized as a knock-out tournament where semifinalists, finalists and the winner will be selected in succeeding rounds.
