The neon sign from the 1970s was discovered by Elżbieta Jabłońska on a building of a state farm in central Poland. At the time of discovery the sign was in a very bad condition. Ms Jabłońska helped to have it renovated and thanks to her it started ‘new life’. The sign has become a work of art and since 2011 it has been on a tour all over the country. It is going to be presented in Lublin at the Night of Culture. The neon light will be installed on the façade of the Theatre under Construction
The popularity of the neon sign is related to several possible meanings of the words ‘new life”. As it turns out, the slogan is the perfect motto for cultural activity, also for Lublin where the abovementioned building will start its ‘new life’.
