Open Literary competition for a creative and original interpretation of texts by writers associated with the Lublin region.
The participants will be asked to write their own pieces inspired by poems or excerpts of prose works by Lublin-based authors: The inter texts will take the form of literary mash-up, allusive storytelling, impression style short piece, detailed interpolation or a poetic remix, and that way they will become a part of a local literary scene. Free style writing is encouraged as there are no categories: prose poetry, sonnets, haiku, odes, songs, villanelle, calligrams, etc.; in a word, from abecedarius to zajal.
Awarded texts will appear, along with works of professional poets and writers invited to participate in the Night of culture 2013, in a collection published as a digital book (with its own ISBN number) available to read via nockultury.pl. Also, they will be shown in key spots of Krakowskie Przedmieście and the Old Town, on the Night of Culture route.
