Joint Venture are the pioneers on the Polish sound system scene. DJ Bass Reprodukktor Xiądz Maken I constantly walks up and down the stage in a priest’s uniform while Activator mixes the effects like none other in this country. . JVSS represents radical side of root music: electro dub, modern ethnic music, old and new reggae, with no overly-sentimental melodies, radical in sound and exploring new territories.
LOVE SEN-C MUSIC (Lublin)
Sound system based in Lublin playing reggae and dancehall music. Their beginnings date back to the end of the 1980s. Their name refers both to LSM, a residential district of Lublin, and to Love, Sense and Music from the Rasta ideology. Long before sound systems captured mass imagination, they had fought five “Interbass duels” with z Joint Venture Sound System.
