The animations screened are well-crafted, formally diverse and imbued with the Czech humour so many know and love. The screening is organised by Kinoteatr Projekt.

1) The Light (2000), dir. David Súkup
They say light flows like water. But is that so? Two boys decide to find out.

2) Gloss (2001), dir. Markéta Plach
The story of a woman who does not forget the times when she was young.

3) The Pirate (2002), dir. Jan Bubeníček
Friendship, it is believed, can conquer death. But sometimes friendship can be defeated by hunger and thirst.

4) A Thaumaturgic Miniworld (2004), dir. Štěpán Batoušek
A mini-film about life based on a poem by T.R. Field, a forgotten poet of the bohemian Prague.

5) 5 Nonsenses (2005), dir. Lucie Košutová
A short plasticine animation on discovering the five senses.

6) The Cuckoo (2005), dir. Pavel Kout
A film about the tough life of a cuckoo living in an old clock.

7) From the Lives of Mothers (2005), dir. Kristina Dufková
From the life of a mother. A film on the carelessness of children and loving care of a mother.

8) Bloody merry christmas (2007), dir. Jan Cechl
Christmas. A mad killer dressed up as a Christmas tree terrorises a random family.

9) A Beggar´s Dream (2007), dir. Martin Krkošek
A film inspired by the adage: “He who wants more and more may well end up with nothing”.

10) Naus (2008), dir. Lukáš Glaser
A film about poetry and on existential questions it carries.

11) Absurp (2009), dir. Matyáš Trnka
A film about the meeting of two strange substances which immediately take to each other. Their romantic dance causes quite an upheaval. The earth will tremble...

12) Feeders (2010), dir. Pavel Soukup
Do not eat to live, but live to eat, or the sorry end of a tasty dinner.

13) Graffitiger (2010), dir. Libor Pixa
This clever film tells the story of a lonely tiger painted on a wall. The animal jumps on walls of Prague's buildings in a true urban jungle of tags and scribbles in search of his lost love...
