Concert: “kIRk”

kIRk is a project in search of new forms of expression at the intersection of electronic and acoustic music. The three participating musicians - Paweł Bartnik (electronics), Olgierd Dokalski (trumpet) and Filip Kalinowski (turntable) - each grew up surrounded by different sounds, and so they take different approaches to sound. Their common language is improvisation, which allows them to transcend genre boundaries. Their music is about intuition and making dialogue. The resulting music is imbued with organic drama and untainted with the obvious.
