Meagre Quartet came into existence in 2008. In 2009 the ensemble recorded their debut album entitled "Mushroom Mousse". The record is impressively eclectic: jazz grooves created by the musicians from Wschów are interlaced with rock expressiveness, aural dissonance rubs shoulders with catchy pop tunes, while unbridled improvisation is juxtaposed with rigid formalism. Apart from the songs collected on their LP, Meagre Quartet also performs new, more mature compositions. Though not recorded as yet, the music has been already played live to rave reviews.
