The band from the suburbs of Lublin called Czarne Lwy (The Black Lions) are one of the few local musical groups who have retained the style typical of the 1960s and the 70s. In those days such groups used to be in great demand as an irreplaceable ingredient of wedding receptions playing for the audiences of different tastes. As very good musicians who have played together for many years and who communicate with one another very well, Czarne Lwy can perform at and enlived many kinds of events. While cultivating the tradition of a professional wedding musicianship, Czarne Lwy disapprove of modern aesthetics ushered in by present-day electronic gadgetry. For this reason the musicians use only acoustic instruments and their sound brings back the memories of proms, wedding receptions and dancing nights that took place more than thirty years ago.
