Future Shorts Festival

The autumn Future Shorts programme contains seven films produced in nine countries all over the world, which together have so far garnered over eighty awards at international festivals. In addition, one of the movies in question will add yet another trophy to its already impressive portfolio of awards - the Future Shorts Audience Award, the prize given on the basis of the number of votes of audiences from over ninety participating countries. Traditionally, it has been the organisers’ wish to diversify the Festival’s programme by selecting the most intriguing titles available: diverse in terms of genres and themes but similar as regards artistic merit.

Future Shorts Autumn Season 2013 contains only one animation while the core of the Festival is divided into documentaries and non-documentaries. During the ninety four minutes of the programme we will visit among others Romania, Brazil, and Canada as well as even a felt forest. During our journey we will experience extreme emotions, encounter astonishing narratives and see out-of-the-ordinary images. Come and view the best of the best.
