The performance presents teachers of a small provincial school, which director wants to impress his guest, Moyses Wasserstein, hoping for his future financial support. The potential donor promises to help on the condition that the school is named after his late father. School’s staffroom is a witness to an ardent discussion filled with stereotypes about Jews provoking comic dilemmas but also mutual accusations.
