A Meeting with Dorota Segda

The Węglin Community Centre invites you in 2014 to the continuation of the literary meetings series ”Spis treści” (Contents). To date the series organizers have hosted, among others, Jan Peszek, Stanisława Celińska, Agnieszka Glińska and Katarzyna Groniec.

In January, the Center will host Dorota Segda, an actress associated with the Stary Theatre in Krakow, TV and film actress renown for her roles in „Tato” and “Faustyna”. The winner of numerous awards, Segda has collaborated with directors such as Jerzy Grzegorzewski and Jarzy Jarocki. She is a versatile actress, able to successfully perform both classical and modern repertoire. She has been appointed professor of the Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts in Krakow, where she currently holds the position of Deputy Rector.

Dorota Segda’s literary ”contents” will revolve around the character of Ophelia, the one created by Shakespeare and that by Wyspiański. In addition, a public will listen to Segda recite her favourite poems.

PLN 10– regular ticket
PLN 5– discount ticket (available for senior citizens, pensioners, pupils, students,
employees or associates of cultural institutions upon presenting a valid document
entitling to the discount)

Participants who book in advance can purchase tickets prior to the event. Tickets will
also be available at the Centre's box office.
