Andrzej Jakimowski takes the viewers to the sun-lit city of Lisbon, only to invite them to step inside the world of darkness. The story of Ian, a blind instructor of spatial orientation on the point of starting his job at a prestigious clinic, poses a number of provocative and puzzling questions regarding our perception of the world, asking us to re-define the meaning of perception and of imagination, making us think how our senses work. Also, it is a movie about one’s responsibility and the limits of freedom. In addition, “Imagine” is a beautifully written and movingly directed fable about a master and his apprentices enabling us to experience our own lives with more care.

Apart from the original English audio, the film will be screened with audio description and Polish subtitles provided, which are designed to facilitate the viewing experience for the hard of hearing and the partially-sighted cinema-goers.
