Concert: Jolka Sip
Jolka Sip is the front woman of the band comprising Lublin-based musicians, all of whom are known and respected among peers. The aesthetic core of the band constitutes a mixture of the singer’s songwriting experience, in particular her literary leanings, and the world of jazz. Live in concert the band will focus on their own songs, however, we will also hear compositions by Jan Kondrak (Jolka Sip’s debut solo album, containing mainly Kondrak’s songs, was released in 2012), and songs with lyrics by Grażyna Lutosławska, Barbara Kondrak and Jolka Sip.
