The Wirydarz Gallery invites you to its 100th (!) exhibition. The exhibition shows the works by Prof. Jarosław Modzelewski, the co-founder of the famous Gruppa and artist associated with Warsaw's Academy of Fine Arts.
The exhibition is open from May 10 to June 23, 2014. It shows Modzelewski’s recent paintings. This outstanding artist’s works are shown in Lublin for the first time ever.
The time of the exhibition coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Wirydarz Art Gallery and the 30th anniversary of the managerial and cultural activity of the Gallery’s owner and founder Piotr Zieliński. To celebrate these anniversaries, we invited to the opening night all the artists who have exhibited their works in the Gallery so far. The event will also feature a performance by the band Raz, Dwa, Trzy. Also, we will publish occasional publications: an anniversary catalogue summing up the 100 exhibitions held in the Gallery, a catalogue of Prof. Modzelewski's exhibition, as well as a poster specifically designed by Andrzej Dudi Dudziński.
