Hidden behind his JR monicker, a famous street art artist tells a universal story of the strength of women living in the world’s most disenfranchised and poverty-stricken communities. The film takes all its viewers on a journey to sites of crisis, to places of economic destitution, to the ghettoes of Cambodia and India the residents of which fall victim to violence, discrimination and abject poverty. Zooming in on women, the director turns his lens on their internal strength that allows them to survive in the face of oppression, to hope against hope and to fight for their survival.
