N S I is a Cracow-based quartet created by young if renowned musicians. Their music is proof positive that acoustic jazz is a force to be reckoned with. The quartet is noted for their originality, superb sound and artistic maturity. Their playing is notable because of its nod to the tradition of jazz and a cutting-edge approach to music. NSI Quartet is a breath of fresh air straight from the New York underground scene that is grounded in tradition and complemented by notes of Slavic (sound and) fury. Energetic and energising, no-holds-barred music that features a lot of breathing space and lyricism of melody that you can enwrap yourself in.
