MELA KOTELUK – singer-songwriter, lyricist, recipient of numerous awards, laureate of the 2013 Fryderyk Prize (Artist of the Year, Debut of the Year), laureate of the 2012 Grzegorz Ciechowski/City of Toruń Award as well as winner of the Gazeta Wyborcza “Ale Sztuka” Poll.
Released her debut album entitled “Spadochron” (“Parachute”) on 8 May 2012; the LP was critically acclaimed and hailed as one of the most striking debut records of the late 2000s. “Migracje” (“Migrations”), the follow-up to the first album, was unveiled on 17 November 2014. “Fastrygi” (“Tack”), the first single, spent over two months of the Polish Radio Programme 3 weekly chart.
