SONIC PHENOMENA
Sonic Phenomena is a series of concerts organised by the Centre for Culture in Lublin aimed at presenting the latest trends in experimental electronic music.
1. New music is guided by its own philosophy and our goal is to meet this philosophy halfway.
2. Music is a form of art and sounds are increasingly becoming a phenomenon beyond genres and conventions.
3. Sonic Phenomena is a common domain that consists of three initiatives in cooperation with the Centre for Culture in Lublin (ende neu / Kaiser Söze Foundation / Szklarnia). Its goal is to present the latest trends in experimental electronic music.
4. We are interested in the creative individual that exists beyond formal determinations and classical instrumentation.
5. Our task is to track sounds arising from the dynamics of a changing world.
6. We seek the yet unwritten score/score to be written.

Błażej Malinowski
Musician, radio journalist, DJ, actively supporting the Warsaw electronic music scene, collector of records and all objects showing at minimal acoustic potential. With regard to his artistic output, he focuses on techno, deep-techno, dub techno and ambient. Co-founder of the Fűnfte Strasse project, which encompasses a radio show and its club manifestation. Originator and curator of Why so Silent, i.e., screenings of silent films accompanied by live electronic music. Associated with the following music labels: Phorma, Technosoul, Silent Season and Minicromusic Rec.
Jacek Sienkiewicz
Producer, DJ, concert organizer and founder of the legendary Recognition Records, which marks its 16th anniversary this year. Lives and works in Warsaw. Universally acknowledged as the pioneer of Polish electronic music. Performed live at the most important festivals in Poland and abroad (among others Unsound, Transmediale, Mutek). Released four solo records for Cocoon Recordings, a music label run by Sven Väth as well as dozens of singles for a number of assorted labels.
