To tackle the subject of Ukraine and Poland is a challenging task indeed. Ukraine is probably the closes and at the same time most exotic of our neighbours. First collected and written down by Szerk, the performance gives us stories told by young Poles, who go on a backpacking trip to Ukraine in search of “wonders and incredibilities”. Making occasional detours into grotesque and absurd areas, they remain fully capable of delivering straightforward social observation.
