Film screening: Miasto movie – “Locke” (2013)
“Locke” (2013) is one of the most innovative and original British movies of the last decade. Starring Tom Hardy as Ivan Locke, the movie follows the title character on his night car drive from Birmingham to London. At first, we get to know a successful business and family man about to be promoted. Then, in the course of phone conversations that he makes as he is driving towards the capital, Locke starts to question everything that so far he has unflinchingly believed in. An engaging, hypnotizing drive of a film shot entirely in the claustrophobic if mysteriously open to interpretation space of a car.
