OLO WALICKI KASZEBE – ABOUT THE GROUP
A group of musicians and friends who do not fear to play with form, aesthetics and the energy of the concert versions of the material from their records.
The group is comprised of: M.Bunio.S - the singer of the cult Dick4Dick; Piotr Pawlak - a guitarist known for bands such as Kury, Łoskot or Bielizna; Tomek Ziętek - a trumpeter and keyboarder of LocoStar, Dick4Dick, Kasia Nosowska, and earlier Pink Freud; Kuba Staruszkiewicz – a drummer in the bands of Maria Peszek and Tomek Makowiecki and ex-Pink Freud. Tomasz Sowiński will make a guest appearance with a set of classical percussion instruments.
Olo Walicki is the author of music and a singing bass player in the band. He is the co-creator of the yass movement - Łoskot, the most recent line-up of Miłość as well as many other jazz bands, together with Leszek Możdżer, Zbigniew Namysłowski or Mazzoll. The author of the cult 2007 record OW KASZEBE. The originator of The Saintbox, a multimedia project with Gaba Kulka. He writes music for films, works with theaters and dancers, and recently he has made his debut as an author of a musical spectacle "To be authentic, or not to be" - in which he performed in a duo with Andrzej Seweryn.
